Our Story
Dubu (formerly known as DoBrain)
Dubu Inc. has demonstrated proven expertise in the development of innovative medical devices for children with intellectual disabilities, as designated by Korea’s Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS). These advancements have been enabled by extensive analysis of behavioral data collected through DoBrain, Dubu’s digital cognitive training app, which has been used by over 700,000 children across the United States, Canada, India, and other regions worldwide.
In 2024, Dobrain rebranded to 'Dubu' (Diverse Understanding of a Better Universe), marking the beginning of a new chapter. While we continue to develop even more innovative products with our new name, our commitment to supporting healthy development for children worldwide remains unchanged.
Leveraging eight years of real-world usage data, in-depth usability studies, and caregiver insights, Dubu has developed Dubu PingPong—a proprietary AI-powered therapeutic coach that provides children with developmental delays highly personalized, real-world conversation training to support meaningful communication growth.

Real-Life Communication Starts with a Virtual Therapy Buddy: Peer-Based Instruction and Intervention (PBII) focuses on social interaction with peers
as the core of the intervention. Typically, the peer is a neurotypical child of a similar age. This evidence-based approach has been adapted into Dubu PingPong, enabling children to engage in peer-style conversations with an AI character modeled after someone their own age.
Dubu PingPong is a virtual therapy buddy powered by AI for children aged 3 to 18 with developmental delays and pragmatic language challenges. Using large
language model (LLM) technology, it helps kids build confidence and fluency
hrough natural, back-and-forth dialogue. Delivered entirely online, Dubu PingPong provides personalized, affordable coaching in a safe and engaging setting.
Dubu Homes
This online therapy coaching service is specially designed for children with diverse developmental needs and their parents. It offers two key classes: Parent Coaching and Child Therapy. In the Parent Coaching class, parents actively participate in
lessons, learning practical methods they can apply directly with their children.
By completing engaging missions, they deepen their understanding of therapy and how to implement it at home. The content is personalized based on the parent’s
unique situation and the child’s specific needs.
The Child Therapy class is a one-on-one session between the child and a skilled
therapist. After each session, parents receive detailed feedback and home assignments to further support their child’s progress. With the ability to observe
and engage in the learning process, parents can effectively assist their child’s
growth and development from the comfort of home.
